INNOVATION SOLUTIONS MENA

communication policy

1. Freedom of Expression and Public Discourse

Innovation Solutions MENA Inc. upholds the fundamental right to freedom of expression as protected by Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the U.S. Constitution, and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Employees, consultants, and subcontractors are free to express personal views—including criticism of governments, institutions, or even company leadership—provided such expression:

  • Is based on facts, evidence, or public policy discourse;

  • Does not involve personal attacks or discriminatory language;

  • Respects the rights, dignity, and safety of others.

The following principles apply:

  • Criticism vs. Attack: Criticism must focus on governance, systems, or conduct—not personal traits or private identities.

  • Support for Causes: Individuals may support or oppose any political, social, or ideological causes, provided they respect others' rights to hold opposing views.

  • Confidentiality First: Public commentary may not reference the company, clients, or projects in a way that discloses or implies confidential information, internal dynamics, or strategy—even indirectly. This includes visual cues, context, or timing that might breach NDAs or trust.

  • Responsibility and Accountability: While there is no pre-approval for personal opinions, individuals bear full ethical and legal responsibility to ensure their expression does not violate confidentiality, defame others, or harm Innovation Solutions MENA Inc.'s neutrality.

  • Prohibited Speech: Hate speech, incitement to violence, or discriminatory language is strictly forbidden regardless of platform or context.

Clarification: Freedom of expression does not override legal obligations such as NDAs, confidentiality agreements, or restrictions outlined in the Social Media and External Communication Policy. The company will not monitor or restrict personal free speech except where it intersects with client confidentiality or reputational harm.

2. Social Media and External Communication

Innovation Solutions MENA Inc. respects individual freedom of digital expression. However, all communication on public or semi-public platforms must protect the privacy of clients, confidentiality of projects, and integrity of the company’s professional reputation.

The following rules apply:

  • No Live Sharing During Engagements: While working on active client projects, all personnel are strictly prohibited from posting or discussing any project-related content, including indirect references, visuals, or location cues.

  • Post-Project Disclosures: Even after project completion, no images, presentations, or behind-the-scenes materials may be shared without written client approval and company communication clearance.

  • Neutrality in Public: Personal posts must not give the impression that they represent the views of Innovation Solutions MENA Inc. They must also avoid commentary that could undermine the company’s neutrality or damage stakeholder relationships.

Violations may result in:

  • Internal disciplinary action

  • Termination of employment or contracts

  • Legal action in cases involving breach of NDAs or defamation

Personnel are encouraged to consult company management before sharing content that may involve sensitive affiliations or reputational implications.
